Shelter from the rain

9cm x 9cm tile
We have just settled in at Bridport by the beach, I have a new book to read, the grandchidren are here and so is the rain! Hurray, the campervan has an awning!
One of our favourite camping grounds is at Bridport, a beautiful seaside township on the north coast of Tasmania, we come here often, as it is about a ninety minute drive from our home.

Colour my day

Size A4
This morning when I reached for the pencil to shade I seemed attracted to the colour pencils.
With a surprise today, I have just spotted Maria's page on blog Zentangle and hurray...... 'spirals' which are so dynamic and amazing.
The world of Zentangles is full of surprises!

What's for tea?

Putting a title to my Zentangles usually just happens, sometimes the title comes first because of where I have been or what has happened in my day. Sometimes I sit, contemplate, turn the tile this way or that but today my thoughts wandered I must have been 'just hungry'!

Snail pace

9cm x 9cm tile
My grandson saw a snail in this tile. We often see wallabies and possums in our garden we like to dig for worms, feed the birds, catch tadpoles in the frog pond and study the ant nests but we don't have snails. Perhaps this snail is the best kind to have in the garden!

Recreation

Rick and Maria suggested a challenge to recreate an old but favourite tile. It is a great way to see how our style has developed. The 1st one I did back in February.

Home

9cm x 9cm tile

Paul's work is finished in South Australia. We went over for 3 weeks back in July, now after 3 months we are home. I am very fortunate to have had the chance to travel with him, to have made new friends, walked on fantastic beaches and experienced a beautiful part of Australia.

Barbecue Shapes

9cm x 9cm tile

My favourite spicy crackers are those crunchy Barbecue Shapes. I thought Mollossus' zapateado sounded spicy and with Carole's unyun, flutter pie, inapod and hepmee and Jella's peppers, barbecue shapes fell into the bowl!!

Kingston Park

Size A4

Kingston Park is a beautiful green conservation area just south of Brighton in South Australia, it is where the caravan park is situated. If any one travels down that way I recommend a stop for a while, walk on the beach enjoy a coffee at the cafe or stretch your legs up the steps and wander along the trails. If you like camping settle by the beach and watch the magnificent sunsets.
