Fortuneteller

Challenge #64!!!
For Laura's weekly challenge we are using the same string...straight lines drawn diagonally then across and down.
In the 1st tile I just started without really thinking to much about swirls or circles just lines, then my creativity kicked in and I had to tangle some more. I love the concept that you can start a Zentangle without a plan, then it's not long before a spark is fired and ideas go pop. Good fun!

A Zentangle Spiral Guide

If you have been following my blog for a while you will know that spiral strings are my favourite. With a request from  Karen Lynn I have put together a guide of tips and ideas. I have found that by dividing the spiral into sections any tangle will fit. Remember to always draw your string with a pencil and keep turning your tile. I hope you have fun with my spiralations.

Alphabet Soup

My latest ZIA is bigger and bolder too. Late last year Sue Jacobs posted her fabulous Alphabet Soup idea. Start with a tangle beginning with the letter A and continue through to Z. Sue's lovely tangle creations are on 5 tiles. I enjoyed tangling on the large watercolour paper so I decided to do the whole alphabet in one, with a touch of pumpkin colour to make a big hearty pot of Alphabet Soup.

Size: 57.5cm x 77cm   (22 1/2" x 30")

To help with the recipe I reached for Linda Farmer's wonderful Tangle Patterns.com Tangle Guide.

Bigger

With inspiration from a friend I attempted a bigger ZIA. Mooka is one of my favourite tangles and I enjoy using mooka as a string so I let my pencil dance across this beautiful piece of watercolour paper. The paper sat on my desk for a week and every spare minute I sat and tangled until it felt finished. It was hard to stop but I didn't want to loose the string.

Do you think I should fill in more or leave the white spaces?
